COMMUNITY CAST AUDITIONS
Nutcracker Youth cast
The 2026 Youth Cast auditions for George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® are SUNDAY, aUGUST 30TH.
- Dancers must be between the ages of 8 and 18 (*prior to audition date) and no taller than 5′ 9″
- Dancers must be currently enrolled in a local dance studio.
- Dance attire is required (leotard, tights, and ballet shoes)
- There is a non-refundable $30 registration fee (if cast, there will also be a $325 production fee)
*THERE WILL BE NO WALK-UP REGISTRATION THIS YEAR*
Auditioners must pre-register online before fRIDAY, aUGUST 28 AT NOON.
Audition Information:
Sunday, aUGUST 30th, 2026
at the Alabama Ballet Center for Dance
GROUP 1 (children under 5' tall): 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
GROUP 2 (children over 5' tall): 1:00 P.m. - 2:30 p.m.
