Alabama Ballet School Receptionist

Alabama Ballet School seeks a part-time, after-hours receptionist.

Hours: 20/week. Approximately 5pm-8:30pm M-F; Saturdays 9:30am-1pm (hours vary seasonally) 

Compensation: Hourly

Start Date: As soon as possible

Description: The primary duties of the after-hours receptionist are to monitor the front door of the studio, check-in students as they arrive at class, and attend to any needs of students, teachers, and parents that may arise during their hours. An ideal candidate will be comfortable and experienced in dealing with children. The receptionist ensures that school and building policies are adhered to during his/her hours. The receptionist also receives payments from school students and adult students, which sometimes requires charging a credit card using our processing system. Closing duties at the end of each shift include checking that lights are turned off, all doors are closed and locked, and setting the building alarm.
