Art in Motion

Experience Art in Motion, an evening celebrating the intersection of dance and visual art. The event begins with a cocktail reception and the opportunity to explore Monet to Matisse: French Moderns, 1850–1950, an exhibition of over 100 masterworks that trace France’s central role in the development of modernism. The program continues with a performance combining excerpts from Sleeping Beauty with new choreography by Juan Rafael Castellanos and Jacy Contreras, created in dialogue with the themes and innovations of the exhibition. This Art in Motion presentation offers a contemplative encounter between movement and the artistic ideas that shaped a transformative era in art history.
