Mollie Swindell, from Decatur, Alabama, discovered her passion for ballet at the age of nine. She trained and flourished at Huntsville Ballet School, where her dedication led to her promotion to company dancer in 2021. Mollie continued her training at Texas Ballet Theater, first in their Professional Training Division and then as a member of the Studio Company. She joined Alabama Ballet as an apprentice for the 2025-2026 Season. Mollie’s favorite roles have included dancing as the Dew Drop Fairy in Phillip Otto’s The Nutcracker, performing in the Wilis corps in the world premier of Tim O’Keefe’s Giselle, and charming audiences as the Duck in Tim O’Keefe’s Carnival of the Animals. With a heartfelt love for performing and a passion for learning, Mollie brings energy, artistry, and grace to every stage she steps on.
