Caitlin McAvoy Hardman

Caitlin began her training at the age of three at Miller Marley School of Dance and Voice in Overland Park, Kansas. She continued her year-round ballet training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary. After graduation, Caitlin was accepted into the San Francisco Ballet School where she trained year round. Prior to joining Alabama Ballet, Caitlin was a trainee at Boston Ballet under the direction of Margaret Tracey, and a member of Nashville Ballet II. Since joining Alabama Ballet, her favorite roles include Coffee in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Myrtha in Giselle, Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Queen of the Dryads and Gypsy Queen in Don Quixote, Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, and the green girl in Christopher Bruce’s Sergeant Early’s Dream.
