Mollie began dancing at the age of nine in her hometown of Decatur, Alabama. She studied ballet at Huntsville Ballet School under the direction of Philip Otto and Rachel Butler before continuing her training at Texas Ballet Theater as a member of the Professional Training Division and Studio Company, respectively. During her time there, she performed in Tim O’Keefe’s Giselle, Ben Stevenson’s The Nutcracker, and as the Duck in Tim O’Keefe’s Peter and the Wolf. She has had the honor of working with Ben Stevenson, Tim O’Keefe, Kathy Warakomsky-Li, Anna Donovan, and Carl Coomer.
Mollie joined Alabama Ballet in 2025 as an Apprentice and was promoted to Company Artist the following season. Her favorite performances with Alabama Ballet include George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, the Fairy of Generosity in The Sleeping Beauty, the Russian Corps in George Balanchine’s Serenade, and a soloist in Paul Vasterling’s Carmina Burana. She has also had the opportunity to work with Darla Hoover, Christopher Stuart, Dawn Scannell, and Paul Vasterling.
Mollie is excited to continue her artistic growth and looks forward to another season with Alabama Ballet.
