Ballet in the Sky

Set against the Birmingham skyline, Ballet in the Sky at Vulcan offers an unforgettable outdoor ballet experience. This special performance features select works from American Portraits, including Stars and Stripes Pas de Deux, choreographed by George Balanchine as well as Christopher Stuart’s To Heal and Dispersal

Performed beneath the open sky, these works take on new life in a breathtaking natural setting. The evening also includes performances by dancers from Alabama Ballet’s Day Program, sharing the stage with the professional company. This collaboration highlights both artistic excellence and the future of ballet.
