Dagny Ingle

Originally from Macon, Georgia, Dagny began her early dance training at the Madison Studio of Dance Education under Jane Madison. At 15, she was invited to study with the Atlanta Ballet pre-professional program on merit scholarship. While there, she had the opportunity to perform alongside the Atlanta Ballet in Yuri Possokhov’s The NutcrackerLa Sylphide staged by Johan Kobborg, and George Balanchine’s Serenade staged by the unimpeachable Robert Barnett. Prior to joining Alabama Ballet as an apprentice in 2022, Dagny had the opportunity to dance professionally with Bossov Ballet Theater and Louisville Ballet as a studio company member, performing soloist roles in ballets by Val Caniparoli, Swan Lake by Robert Curran, Emeralds by George Balanchine, and The Sleeping Beauty by Adam Hougland. In her first season with Alabama Ballet, she was excited to add George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® to her experiences, performing in Snow and Waltz of the Flowers. A highlight of her first season was performing as a Friend of Coppelia and Betrothal Couple in Roger VanFleteren’s Coppelia.
