Alabama Ballet’s Young Persons Board (Grades 8–12)

AB NXT is where the next generation of arts leaders begins.

Designed for students in grades 8–12, AB NXT connects young people with ballet and the larger arts community while developing leadership skills, creativity, and lasting friendships. Through exclusive events, service opportunities, and hands-on involvement with Alabama Ballet, members gain meaningful insight into how the arts thrive — onstage and behind the scenes.

AB NXT supports Alabama Ballet by nurturing a vibrant, student-led community dedicated to dance and the visual arts.

Guided by curiosity, creativity, equity, and confident leadership, we empower young people to:

• Advocate for the arts in their schools and communities

• Build meaningful connections within Alabama’s creative landscape
