The Alabama Ballet, Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Alys Stephens Center, Red Mountain Theatre and Opera Birmingham have joined together to bring our community an evening of the arts and this event is our gift to you.

On the evening of June 4, grab curbside from one of your favorite restaurants and join us in the parking lot of 16th Street and University Boulevard on UAB’s campus for the first BIRMINGHAM ARTS DRIVE-IN.

As Birmingham Performing Arts Organizations, we hold dear the important role the arts play in our lives. The arts connect us, nourish our hearts and minds, transform us and create community.

This is a FREE event, but you must reserve your ticketed parking spot in advanceSpaces are limited. Reservations are required and social distancing will be enforced.

Ticketholders should arrive between 7-7:45 p.m. At 7:45 pm, all remaining spaces will be released to a waiting list, first-come-first-served. Vehicles will not be admitted after 8:15 p.m. The event will end by 9:45 p.m.

*Update: Due to the city curfew, The Birmingham Arts Drive-in event has been postponed until further notice. Alabama Ballet and its collaborating arts partners, UAB’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center, Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Opera Birmingham and Red Mountain Theatre Company, hope to reschedule the event, presented free for the community, soon.
