The Alabama Ballet, Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Alys Stephens Center, Red Mountain Theatre and Opera Birmingham have joined together to bring our community an evening of the arts and this event is our gift to you.
On July 30 and July 31, grab curbside from one of your favorite restaurants and join us in the parking lot of 16th Street and University Boulevard on UAB’s campus for the first BIRMINGHAM ARTS DRIVE-IN.
This is a FREE event, but you must reserve your ticketed parking spot on UAB’s campus in advance. Spaces are limited. Reservations are required and social distancing will be enforced.
On July 30, Avondale Brewery will host a viewing party. Visit https://avondalebrewing.com/ to make reservations.
As Birmingham Performing Arts Organizations, we hold dear the important role the arts play in our lives. The arts connect us, nourish our hearts and minds, transform us and create community.
Ticket holders should arrive between 7-7:45p. At 7:45p, all remaining spaces will be released to a waiting list, first-come first-served. Vehicles will not be admitted after 8:15p. The event will end by 9:45p.
This event will be streamed LIVE via YouTube – link will be shared on the day of the event.
HEY! I tried to reserve a spot, is it already full?
It is, but you can get on the waitlist. We also plan to stream it live on YouTube and will be posting the link to it that day.
