As Alabama Ballet continues to prioritize the health and well-being of our patrons, artists, staff and community, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of our 2019|2020 season, including our final production of the season, Ovation.

While we are deeply saddened that the company was not able to bring their artistry to the stage for the rest of the season, the current pandemic has left us no other choice. We do have hopes to reschedule these performances of both Romeo & Juliet and Ovation to a later date for our 2020|2021 season.

All season ticket holders will have the option to either donate the value of their tickets or apply the value to tickets for the 2020|2021 season. All ticket questions can be sent to Michele at information@alabamaballet.org.

We will need the support of our audiences and patrons more than ever, as the impact of this crisis affects the wellbeing of our company and staff as well as the future of our organization. More than ever, Alabama Ballet is committed to bringing world-class art and education programs back to Alabama as soon as possible. Our dancers need movement, our students need enrichment and our audiences need inspiration.

We have established a special Relief Fund to ensure Alabama Ballet’s future. Please consider making a donation to our organization in honor of your favorite student, teacher, company dancer, or balletomane. A gift of any size is impactful, and your generosity is deeply appreciated during this vulnerable time.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate through this rapidly changing landscape. We are grateful for your dedication to the Alabama Ballet and we look forward to the time when we can return to the stage and share the beauty and joy of our company with you again.

-With much love from the Alabama Ballet Family
